Purpose. The increasing frequency of termino-terminal edentations directs our attention to restore the functions of the dento-maxillary apparatus with the help of removable partial denture with special systems.
Case presentation. Pacient R.C. age 50 years old, presented to the dentist for consultation and to establish a specialized treatment. At the clinical and radiological examination, we found a Kennedy class I edentation at maxilla and a Kennedy class III edentation with one modification in the lower arch. Following the consultation we proposed to the pacient a treatment plan consisting of a skeletal partial prosthesis with special systems, telescope type, at the upper arch and fixed prosthesis on implants at the lower arch.
Conclusion. Prosthetic rehabilitation with the help of a skeletal partial prosthesis with special sistems offers to the pacients with partial termino-terminal edentation in addition to recovering the functions of the dento-maxillary apparatus and aesthetic at a higher level than acrylic mobilizable prothesis.
