Types of Contributions
Depending on the relevance and academic quality of the manuscript, Index Academic may publish:
- original research articles;
- review and synthesis articles;
- theoretical or conceptual studies;
- case studies;
- methodological analyses;
- academic essays;
- academic comments and perspectives;
- other contributions of scientific or academic value accepted by the editorial team.
The exact manuscript types, structural requirements, and submission conditions are detailed in the Author Guidelines.
Interdisciplinary Approaches
Index Academic places particular emphasis on works that facilitate dialogue between disciplines and contribute to understanding complex issues from multiple perspectives.
However, interdisciplinarity is not a mandatory condition for publication. In-depth research within a single field is also welcome when it presents a relevant academic contribution.
Relevance and Academic Quality
Simply belonging to one of the listed fields does not guarantee that a manuscript will be accepted for publication.
Works are evaluated according to criteria such as:
- relevance to the field addressed;
- originality and contribution to knowledge;
- theoretical and methodological grounding;
- quality of argumentation and analysis;
- appropriate use of sources;
- clarity of presentation;
- compliance with ethical and editorial requirements.
The evaluation process is described on the Editorial Policy and Peer Review page.
Multidisciplinary and International Character
Index Academic aims to provide an open academic space for research from different disciplinary and geographical traditions.
The journal accepts articles in Romanian, English, and French and encourages participation from authors affiliated with different institutions and academic communities.
Through its multidisciplinary profile, open access model, and persistent identification of articles through DOI, Index Academic seeks to facilitate the discovery, citation, and responsible reuse of research results.
