The paper presents the strategic elements of development in national and international medical university education with the purpose of evaluating these elements emphasizing the degree of novelty and innovation in the field of development of medical university education. The priority strategic objective of universities presented is defined by education and research, obtained from innovation and digitalization. The paper also presents objectives and directions of action for medical university education. The key pillars underlying the strategic development elements, as well as the education and research mission, are presented. The paper ends with a conclusion and bibliography.
