The absence of one or more permanent teeth is one of the most common developmental abnormalities in humans. A tooth is considered to be congenitally absent when it has not erupted in the oral cavity, has not been accidentally extracted or lost, and is not visible on radiological examination. Patient C.R., 38 years old, comes to the clinic for aesthetic rehabilitation in the frontal area. At the initial check-up, it was found that the patient has bilateral anodontia of the upper lateral incisors. It is decided to restore the aesthetic aspect by applying veneers. So that grinding for veneers is minimal, orthodontic treatment is proposed to align the teeth in a favorable position for this purpose. Through the interdisciplinary collaboration of the orthodontist with the prosthodontist, an efficient, predictable treatment was obtained, which led to a considerable improvement of the patient’s aesthetic appearance and an increase in her quality of life.
