The implications deriving from the most exhaustive understanding of antisocial behaviors become significant from the perspective of efforts made in the direction of intervention and prevention. Now we need a clearer understanding of what causes young people to engage in antisocial behavior, and even more importantly, to persist in keeping such behavioral patterns active. Thus, a lot of research was carried out in which behavioral variables were used to be able to investigate the anomalies that appeared during the processing of information about reward or punishment and to be able to highlight the potential mechanisms that lead to the development of antisocial behaviors. Considering the negative impact generated by such a behavioral model (on antisocial people themselves, on people who become victims in the face of such manifestations, but also on society as a whole), the purpose of this material is to critically analyze the measure in which errors in the processing of reward or punishment information are responsible for the emergence and perpetuation of antisocial behaviors.
