EFFICIENT METHODS OF ASSESSING CANDIDATES IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES SELECTION PROCESS

The selection of human resources is a complex process that requires a thorough specialist training, with life experience being an additional guide that should not be missing from the knowledge of any expert in the field. Hiring staff for a large-scale population and housing census puts us in a situation where hundreds of candidates come before us and we need to select the right people according to their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. In order to make the selection of candidates as efficient as possible and based on the experience of similar activities, we have created a questionnaire that highlights verbal communication skills and a nonverbal behaviour observation sheet that follows the gestures and mimicry of future employees down to the smallest details. Based on the idea that each candidate should be placed in the right place, trying to eliminate possible disagreements that might have arisen between the census takers and the census population or the census coordination team, each tool created includes elements that highlight narcissistic personality traits. Interpretation of these aspects must necessarily be done by experienced psychologists.
